Parking Policy

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

Due to an increasing amount of inappropriate and unsafe parking at Millstream Medical Centre, we our introducing a new parking policy.

We are implementing this new policy in the interest of safety and to reduce the likelihood of damage to vehicles parked.

We have been experiencing many people parking their cars in our Car Park to visit the City Centre or visit the organisations in the surrounding area, often leading to overcrowding and unsafe parking. This also means our staff have been unable to park, resulting in delayed patient care.

Our car park will now be monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) as you enter and as you leave. As part of the new policy, we are only able to offer parking for blue badge holders in the designated spaces near the front of the car park. We ask that these patients display their blue badge to enable the cameras to pick this up and give their registration to our receptionists on arrival to enter onto the system to avoid parking fines. If you are not a blue badge holder you will need to park in central car park, alternatively there is a cycle rack if you are able ride to the practice or walking access from the river Avon foot path.

Visitors can be assured that adequate signage will be displayed on site and that momentary drop offs and pickups will be granted, this drop off area is located on the Approach road at the front of the building (bottom of steps).

All fines will be paid to a private company, not the Practice.
