Jules Hackforth’s Retirement Notice
Dear All
After 30 wonderful years of nursing in both primary and secondary care, the time has come for me to retire and I shall be doing so in September.
It has been an absolute privilege to care for so many of you and your families over the years. Being part of your lives—through times of illness, recovery, celebration, and challenge—has been both an honour and a source of great personal fulfilment.
Nursing has been far more than a career for me; it has been a vocation. I have been fortunate to work alongside dedicated, brilliant colleagues and to meet countless remarkable people whose kindness, resilience, and trust have left a lasting impression on me.
As I look ahead to this new chapter, I do so with gratitude for the relationships I have built and the memories I will always cherish. While I will miss seeing you at the surgery, I leave knowing that you will continue to receive excellent care from the wonderful team here.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your healthcare journey. Your trust and support have meant more to me than words can express.
I wish you and your families good health, happiness, and all the very best for the future.
With thanks
Jules Hackforth
