Broadchalke Surgery

Update – 12/01/2026

Over the weekend, our plumbers and builders attended Broad Chalke and were able to begin essential repair work. We are pleased to confirm that the plumbing and heating systems are now fully operational. However, some repairs are still outstanding, and these need to be completed before we can safely resume clinical services at Broad Chalke.

In the meantime, Broad Chalke will be open for medication collection and reception enquiries only during the following times:

• Tuesday 12 January: 13:30 – 18:30

• Wednesday 13 January: 08:00 – 18:30

• Thursday 14 January: 08:00 – 18:30

From Monday 19 January, Broad Chalke will return to normal opening hours for medication collection and reception enquiries. We hope to be able to resume clinical services at Broad Chalke as soon as possible and will provide a further update once we have more information.

Update – 07/01/2026

We have experienced some further disruption at Broad Chalke. Late last night, a water pipe burst in the building, which has resulted in structural damage.

We are working closely with our insurance company, as well as builders, plumbers, and other contractors, to ensure the premises are made safe as quickly as possible. At present, we anticipate that Broad Chalke will be out of action until February while repair work is carried out.

During this time, medications will continue to be available for collection from Six Penny Handley.

As we receive further updates, we will keep this webpage regularly updated with the latest information.

Update – 06/01/2026

Due to inclement weather, we have temporarily lost some essential utility services at the Broadchalke surgery site. Unfortunately, this means we have had to close the surgery for the time being.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Medications can be collected from our Sixpenny Handley surgery in the meantime.

Our team is working hard to restore services as quickly as possible, and we aim to have everything up and running again soon. As soon as we know more, we will update the website with further information.
